What a community of mothers like AMI help you with:
- Emotional support in the task of raising my children
- Information on what works in the home
- Encouragement from other mothers makes my life less lonely
- An opportunity to help others by sharing my ideas and experiences
- A regular break away from my chores to regroup
- Inspiration to help me stay positive
- I don?t need anything from a community of mothers
What mothers know that I might want to know:
- Where to find new parenting solutions
- How to organize a home and keep it clean
- When and how to focus on strengthening marriage
- Suggestions for caring for a sick child
- Easy recipes for feeding a hungry family
- Funny stories about life with kids
- I already know enough about motherhood because it takes up all my time
Where mothers are most commonly found (in no particular order):
- At the grocery store with their list
- At the church with their families
- At the playground with their children
- At the computer with their blog and email messages
- On the front porch to yell, ?it?s time for dinner.?
- On the sidelines of their kids? sporting event with their camera
- At the store with their credit card
- On vacation with dad, the kids and all the relatives
- At an American Mothers Meeting
- On the phone to find out how soon daddy will be home
- Do mothers sleep?
So this proves that the best chances for talking with other mothers is at an American Mothers Meeting. Our next one is this Saturday at 10am at the Great Northwest Public Library.
